Choosing a test

Which test does my vehicle need?

Your vehicle's year decides the test. Most cars take the quick OBD-II test. Here is how to tell what you need.

OBD-II test

$45 Layton · $35 West Haven

1996 and newer gas vehicles. We connect to your car's computer and read the emissions data. This covers most vehicles on the road today.

Two-speed idle test

$50 Layton · $35 West Haven

1995 and older gas vehicles. We measure tailpipe emissions at two engine speeds. It takes a few minutes longer than OBD-II.

Diesel and heavy-duty

Call Us
